Response To Statement 1

Existance after death is possible through memories.
On bodily death, a person most definately continues to exist in a non-physical form. When someone lives their life, they effect other people though interactions and relationships. When that person dies, everyone they have effected still hold on to the memories they have with him or her. These memories could be things that the person taught their friends, family and coworkers. Everything they have learned from that person over time will stay alive with them for the rest of their lives, and eventually be passed on to a younger generation. If a deceased person's knowledge passes on other people, they are in a sense existing through memories.

  1. Louis,
I found this to be a beautiful response to the posed statement. I have never thought in terms of memories and lessons taught to others. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this post and have altered my viewpoints thanks to it. I strongly agree that we live on in memories others have of us and lessons we have taught people. In that sense i believe that we will never truly lose existence. Great post!

  2. I agree with your response and believe it is one of many different non-physical forms our lives can be rememeberd by. If it is through memory, your idea that ones knowledge can be passed on from generation to generation has definately impacted each and every one of us at some point.
